BSI STANDARDS

Using BSI Standards helps you to ensure that you maintain safe and efficient business processes, and gives a means of demonstrating this to your customers. They are particularly effective when operating in global or European markets as they offer common, internationally recognised benchmarks of product quality and effective management systems.

For many products and services compliance with relevant standards is voluntary and widespread adherence to them is driven solely by the demands of buyers. However, in areas heavily regulated by law, such as pharmaceutical, biotechnical and or medical devices, standards have been designed to state the specifications that must be met to comply with the law.

The British Standards Institution (BSI) defines standards as 'an agreed way of doing something'. Officially recognised standards bring benefits to all kinds of businesses, including manufacturers, retailers and service providers. Standards have an important and valuable role as they offer an assurance that your products are safe and of a recognised quality, or that you conform to an accepted level of service delivery.

ISO STANDARDS.

ISO has developed over 17500 International Standards on a variety of subjects and some 1100 new ISO standards are published every year. The full range of technical fields can be seen from the listing International Standards. Users can browse that listing to find bibliographic information on each standard and, in many cases, a brief abstract. The online ISO Standards listing integrates both the ISO Catalogue of published standards and the ISO Technical programme of standards under development.
